Client:
A future-oriented concessionaire
Aérodom operates 6 airports in the Dominican Republic. The concessionaire wanted to analyze the vulnerability of its assets to climate change, starting with La Isabela International Airport.
With plans to expand and develop the airport, the climate change vulnerability study will enable the concessionaire to adapt its projects and take climate-related factors into account where appropriate.
A decisive intervention
By conducting a preliminary diagnosis, Aérodom was able to assess the potential impact of climate change on infrastructure and operations, identify the airport’s most critical points, limit damage and operational losses in the event of climate risks, support the government in its strategy to combat climate change, and provide a long-term vision for the airport’s operations.
