Sensitive areas on the Line 17 route
The Société du Grand Paris has decided to carry out auscultation of certain sensitive/critical areas, structures and roads affected by the Grand Paris Express Line 17 North project between Le Bourget Aéroport and Le Mesnil-Amelot stations, before and during the general works.
It has therefore signed a contract with Entreprise Générale d’Auscultations covering the Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle airport area, including the reserved access zone.
Sixense operates the surveillance services
The service includes the execution of:
- A preliminary inspection (zero condition inspection) of the surrounding structures (ADP structures, airport runways, SNCF structures, etc.) prior to Lot 3 of the civil engineering works contract
- An inspection of the environment (ADP structures, airport runways, SNCF structures, etc.) during Lot 3 of the civil works contract and beyond.
Although the schedule for L17 is uncertain, the Société du Grand Paris has decided to award this contract to Sixense and to launch this purchase order in order to take advantage of the period of closure of Runway 4 at CDG airport and to carry out the drilling of the instruments planned in this area at a lower cost.
Under this contract, Sixense has drilled 10 vertical boreholes (2 reinforced boreholes) and one directional borehole under Runway 4, which will be used to instrument the area affected by the L17 tunnel in the future.
